Mildew Trouble
Important: Mildew is a result of moisture. If you do not find the source of the moisture and fix the problem, the mildew will return.
Needed tools & materials:
- safety glasses
- rubber gloves
- bucket
- work clothes
- sponge
- paint brush
- water
- household bleach
- primer (base paint)
- paint
A. mix one part bleach with three parts water in a bucket.
B. use the sponge to apply the mixture on the stain and a 20cm border around it. Use the mixture
generously. Wait 25 minutes for the mixture to dry, and repeat the procedure- even if the mildew
has gone.
C. rinse off the mixture from the wall with clean water. Wait for the wall to dry completely.
D. Apply one coat of primer on the area, and after it dries, paint the area with at least two coats of
paint.
